New Album

Claire Gaynor, a prolific British singer song writer has gained considerable experience from live performance and is currently receiving critical acclaim with her excellent new self-penned album 'Devotion'.

Past success has included writing arranging and performing the material for popular band's of the early nineties which include 'The Tauntones' and 'This Wonderful Land', culminating in TV appearances and Radio performances. As a member of The Sweet Soul Sisters, the highly acclaimed British five piece A'cappella band Claire co-wrote material for their successful Canadian tour.

Claire Gaynor debut album ‘Devotion’ released April 30th catalogue No. LHPCD103.

It was aged 13 that Claire bought her first guitar setting her sights on the songwriting talents of the late great Sandy Denny and later Kim Richey, Shawn Colvin and Marcus Hummon to name but a few and began composing songs, arranging harmonies, learning fiddle piano and bass along the way. Later, tours of North America with the Sweet Soul Sisters followed, with TV and radio appearances both at home and abroad.

For the new album the melodies came first, and soon Vince Gills Nashville fiddle player John Permenter, Sarah Jory, the female pedal steel player, Simon Nicol and Chris Leslie members of Fairport convention all came on board to record ‘Devotion’.
